BetMGM App: iPhone, Android, Login and Rewards

BetMGM combines a US sportsbook with a rewards programme linked to MGM Resorts. You can use it for individual bets, parlays, player props and live betting. Before downloading, check that its mobile sportsbook is available where you will be placing bets: having the app on your phone is not enough to pass the location check.

BetMGM app for iPhone and iPad

The US App Store listing is called BetMGM – Sportsbook & Casino, with BetMGM, LLC shown as the seller. It supports both iPhone and iPad and currently requires iOS 18.0 or iPadOS 18.0 or later.

1. Follow the Apple download link on the official US BetMGM sportsbook site.
2. Check the app name, seller and compatibility.
3. Tap Get and confirm the download.
4. Open the app, sign in or register, and allow location access when prompted.

If your device cannot install the latest required system version, do not look for an old app file on a third-party website. Check the official site for supported access options or ask support about your device.

Choosing the US BetMGM Sportsbook app

Search results can include a casino product, a resort app or a BetMGM service for another country. Follow the link from the US sportsbook website and read the listing before downloading. A familiar logo alone does not establish that it is the correct product for your account.

On an older iPhone, compare the device’s installed system version with the compatibility section in the App Store. If Apple requires an update, check whether your device supports it. An unofficial download does not make an unsupported phone compatible.

Downloading BetMGM on Android

BetMGM has an official Google Play sportsbook listing. Start from the US sportsbook website and follow its Android link for your location. This helps avoid confusing the sportsbook with a separate casino product or another country’s BetMGM service.

Install the listed app, open it and use your existing credentials if you already have an account. Keep updates enabled through the store. If the official site offers a different route for your location, follow that route rather than an unrelated APK directory.

BetMGM login and registration

Use your existing account when switching phones. Forgotten passwords should be reset through the official recovery link. If you cannot access the email associated with the account, contact support before creating another account.

For a new account, enter your real personal details and complete the identity checks requested during registration. The age label in an app store is not the same as the legal betting age: BetMGM’s US sportsbook requires customers to meet its betting eligibility rules.

Account verification before your first BetMGM deposit

Use your own name and contact details when registering, and ensure the information matches the documents requested. If verification fails, read the reason before submitting the same information again. A typing error, an unreadable document and an unresolved eligibility check need different responses.

Keep access to the registered email or phone number. When changing devices, recover the existing account before trying another registration. Your open bets and transaction records belong to that account; they are not transferred by copying the app icon onto a new phone.

Why BetMGM checks your location

You must be physically within an approved betting area when placing a wager. A working login or an address in an eligible state does not remove that requirement.

If the app cannot locate you, check that location access is enabled for BetMGM in your phone settings. Close VPN or remote-access software and follow the instructions in the app. Do not try to fake a location. If you are near a border or the error continues, ask official support to check the issue.

When travelling, check the destination’s BetMGM mobile availability before expecting to use the account there. Our US sportsbook apps guide is a starting point for comparing the options.

What can you bet on?

The sportsbook covers major US sports and international events. It offers straightforward match bets as well as player props, futures and parlays. A parlay combines selections, so check how every leg affects the result before confirming.

In live betting, the price can change while you are reading a market. Check the final odds and stake, then look for the confirmation in your bet history. Do not submit again just because the screen is slow.

BetMGM player props and same-game parlays

A player prop concerns an individual performance, such as a points total, rather than simply the winning team. Read whether the market covers the whole game and what its rules say about a player not participating. A familiar player name is not enough to identify the exact bet.

A same-game parlay combines eligible selections from one event. Its selections may be connected, so the combined price is not necessarily the result of multiplying the prices displayed elsewhere. Review the completed slip and remember that adding a leg adds another condition that must be satisfied.

To compare how another US sportsbook organises these markets, read our FanDuel app review. Compare the exact market and settlement rules rather than the headline potential return alone.

BetMGM Rewards explained

BetMGM Rewards is the online loyalty programme; MGM Rewards is the wider resort programme. They are connected, but not every point, tier benefit or earning rule is interchangeable.

Eligible activity can earn rewards under the programme rules. Check what the reward can be used for before treating it as money: a Bonus Bet, a casino bonus and a resort benefit are different things.

If rewards are important in your comparison, our Caesars Sportsbook review covers another sportsbook with a resort-linked programme.

Rewards Points, Tier Credits and resort benefits

BetMGM Rewards Points can be used through the rewards store for the available redemptions. Tier Credits track progress toward a membership tier; they are not a second cash balance that can be withdrawn. MGM Rewards relates to the connected resort programme.

The official programme also describes exchanging eligible BetMGM Rewards Points for MGM Rewards or Marriott Bonvoy points. Check the account-linking and conversion terms before transferring. The value of a hotel benefit depends on whether you would use it, so a larger points figure is not automatically a better cash offer.

Payments and welcome offers

Use the cashier inside your account to confirm deposit and withdrawal options. Read any minimum, fee and processing information before paying. A method available in one jurisdiction may not be offered in another.

A first-bet-loss promotion is not a cash refund when its terms award Bonus Bets. Read the qualifying stake, expiry and withdrawal rules before opting in. Do not increase a planned bet simply to reach an advertised maximum.

BetMGM deposits and withdrawal status

Look at the withdrawal options before choosing how to fund the account. Confirm that the payment method belongs to you, check the currency and retain the transaction reference. If a payment appears pending, use the account history to establish whether BetMGM is still reviewing it or the payment provider is processing it.

Do not treat the advertised processing time for one method as a guarantee for every account. An identity check or a payment-detail mismatch can require a separate response. If you contact support, provide the amount, method, reference and the status displayed.

BetMGM bonus code and Bonus Bets explained

The terms of the promotion you select determine whether a code is required, which first bet qualifies and how long the reward lasts. Bonus Bets cannot simply be withdrawn, and the promotional stake may be excluded from the return.

For example, if the terms exclude the stake, a 10-unit Bonus Bet at decimal odds of 3.00 would return 20 units of winnings if successful, rather than 30 units including a returned cash stake. This example explains the calculation, not a current advertised offer. Read the actual qualifying odds, expiry and restrictions before opting in.

BetMGM app FAQ

Does BetMGM support iPad?

Yes. The checked US App Store listing supports iPad and requires iPadOS 18.0 or later. Check the listing again before downloading because requirements can change.

Is the Android sportsbook on Google Play?

Yes, an official US sportsbook listing is available. Follow the Android link from BetMGM’s official site for the right product.

Why can I log in but not place a bet?

Account access and permission to wager are separate. The app must verify your location, and any identity or account checks must also be complete.

Are Bonus Bets withdrawable cash?

No. They are promotional betting credit governed by the offer’s rules, not a cash refund.

BetMGM customer support and app troubleshooting

BetMGM directs app users to Help & Customer Care. Its official contact guide lists online chat and email, with phone arrangements depending on the jurisdiction. Use those account-linked channels for a rejected verification, missing transaction or unresolved location error.

For a technical problem, send the exact error and device details. If an accepted bet is missing from the display, refresh its history before placing another. If location verification fails, check the app’s location permission and follow the official instructions; a valid account does not override physical-location requirements.

For a broader comparison of access methods, see sportsbook apps versus mobile browsers. Keep a betting limit that is independent of any loyalty tier or promotional maximum.
